AEW stunned the wrestling world with the shocking signing of WWE legend Big Show earlier this week. The promotion has broken new ground and has solidified its main roster with this announcement, which seems to be a win-win for Show, as well as AEW.
Big Show, wrestling as Paul Wight in AEW, can now face an array of new opportunities as he steps into a fresh new path in his career. After being used to put over stars in WWE, we may finally see him return to the beast he was decades ago.
Wight has the rare opportunity of being one of the most complete wrestlers in the business. Apart from being the 12th Grand Slam Champion and 24th Triple Crown Champion of WWE, he may go on to conquer AEW through 2021.
Big Show has the opportunity of being the first person to win the WWE, ECW, WCW, and AEW Championship. Winning the title from Kenny Omega would mean that show is the first-ever wrestler to hold Championship across all the 4 promotions/ brands.
Admittedly, beating Kenny Omega is a long shot for the giant, since AEW is riding on his momentum in the TNA crossover, and the title changing hands is probably not what Tony Khan is looking for.

Big Show is one of the most decorated stars in the wrestling industry
Although the past decade has not been too kind to Big Show, he could emerge in a different light now. AEW may introduce him as a much bigger force than WWE boiled him down to.
Fans must not forget just how accomplished the giant is in the business. He is a two-time WWE Champion, two-time World Heavyweight Champion, three-time WWE Hardcore Champion, three-time WWE Tag Team Champion, and five-time WWE World Tag Team Champion. He also won the WWE Intercontinental and United States Championships once each.
In WCW, he was a three-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion and a 3-time WCW World Tag team Champion.
This impressive resume list can shine in any office, and it seems o have taken a fancy with Tony Khan. As for the immediate plans for Wight, we do not know yet but Shaquille O’Neal looks like a tempting option.
