Hey guys, here we are with a round of the OTT news for the day. So much is happening in the OTT space that it’s a little difficult to keep a tab on what’s happening. We are so glad that now entertainment is reaching homes and people are still enjoying films in the comforts of their home in these trying times of pandemic. We had a couple of announcements in the OTT space and a few news reports. Let’s check them out here:
Salman Khan’s comment on Tiger Shroff
In just a short span of time, Tiger Shroff, Jackie Shroff’s son has established himself as an action hero. He is an inspiration to his fans. And guess who’s inspired by Tiger Shroff? None other than Radhe aka Salman Khan. Recently Salman was asked what motivates him to work hard even after being in the industry for three decades. The Dabangg actor said, “I realised that only when you put your sweat and blood and, you give it your best- your audience would understand and appreciate your hard work. So now, at 55-56, I am doing stuff that I used to do when I was 14 and 15 years old. It is because my younger generation is Tiger Shroff.”
Vidya Balan’s Sherni
The makers of Vidya Balan’s Sherni dropped the first look and announced the release month of the same. As per the official synopsis, Vaidya Balan plays the role of a forest officer who wants to strike a balance between man and animal worlds. Apart from Vidya, Sherni also stars Sharad Saxena, Mukul Chaddha, Vijay Raaz, Ila Arun, Brijendra Kala, and Neeraj Kabi in key roles. Newton director Amit Masurkar, Sherni is scheduled for a June release on Amazon Prime Video.

Ek Mini Katha to stream on Amazon Prime Video
Santosh Shoban, Kavya Thapar, Shraddha Das starrer Ek Mini Katha, a Telugu film is scheduled for an OTT release this month. It is being said that Ek Mini Katha may stream on Amazon Prime Video from 27 or 28 May. However, an official confirmation is yet to come. Ek Mini Katha tells the tale of Santosh, who suffers from a psychological problem that causes him to be insecure about his size. Struggling to find a solution, he erases the idea of marriage altogether until he meets Amrutha, with whom he falls in love.
The Family Man 2 trailer release
Samantha Akkineni and Manoj Bajpayee’s web series The Family Man 2’s trailer will be dropped on Wednesday. It is one of the most anticipated web series given the popularity of the first one. It is also said that The Family Man 2 will stream from next month onwards.

A little bit of snipping here and there. There is no real change, no big cut. Amazon went through the entire footage of Season 2 with a fine toothcomb to ensure there is nothing politically incorrect in Season 2.
