Edmonton police seek witnesses to collision that sent passenger to hospital in life-threatening condition

On Sept. 19, at about 1:30 a.m., it was reported that a 2016 black Ram pickup truck was travelling east on 115 Avenue and then turned left to go north on Groat Road.

Shortly after, the truck left the road and collided with a tree. The man driving the truck got out of it and briefly remained before fleeing west on 115 Avenue. Paramedics treated and transported a 25-year-old man who was a passenger in the vehicle to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has surveillance footage is asked to contact police.
